Geocache Description:

Uloke Oulun keskustan läheisellä puistoalueella - Oulun alueen ensimmäinen kätkö. A spot in a park close the centre of Oulu - the first cache in Oulu region.

Lehtiartikkelista tuli innostus lähteä etsimään kätköä. Kun lähin kätkö näytti olevan Kajaanissa asti, päätettiin perustaa Oulun tienoon ensimmäinen (ja Suomen 31. - vasta!). Kätkö on musta filmirullapurkki. Paikka ei ole mikään hirveän erikoinen, mutta joka tapauksessa kaupungin kauneinta puistoaluetta. Toivottavasti Oulun tienoolla ja muuallakin pohjoisemmassa Suomessa alkaa syntyä lisääkin kätköjä!

The initation for hiding the cache was that there was no cache within less than driving almost 200 km from Oulu. So we decided to make a cache here rather than driving that distance. The site is probably not any unique one - but anyway in the nicest park area of the city. So, this is the first cache around Oulu region, and only 31'st in Finland!
