Geocache Description:

A traditional cache a short walk from the village of Reed, Hertfordshire. Located right on the Prime meridian.

If you like to see interesting co-ordinates on your GPS this cache could be for you. It is located in a small wood just off a bridle path. It can be reached either from Barkway or Reed although the pub in Reed (The Cabin) is supposed to be very good.

Be warned that the approach is known locally as "Muddy Lane" and it certainly lives up to its name so come prepared with boots.

You might note on the OS map that there is a "Motte & Bailey" close by. Don't expect to see anything apart from a slight mound in the field.

Stay on the by-way until your GPSr indicates E000° 00.000' then turn and enter the wood.

You can park at the pub or N 52 00.291 W 00 00.807
