Geocache Description:

A favourite with anglers, the ponds at Waterford are home to an array of fish species including large mouth bass, northern pike and a variety of panfish. Pickeral Lake, Willow Pond, Shadow Lake and Bass Lake, the ponds located here, are excellent examples of gravel pit rehabilitation, with deep rocky bottoms and pronounced shorelines.

There are a number of ponds in this area and this is a popular one for fishing. The scenery is beautiful with open water, water lilies and a variety of tress, bushes and foliage all around.

Living in the area but not actually out enjoying the ponds much until recently, I have missed out on some of the beauty that was this close to me. Fishing poles will be the next thing we acquire. Not needed for finding this cache but another way to enjoy these ponds
