I have lived in this town all my life and for some reason I didn't know about this great little gem of a park. It is close to the river with trails down to the water. There is a playground and basket ball half court. Picnic tables are nicely spaced for privacy. There are great old trees for climbing. And best of all for a dog owner, you can bring your dogs as long as they are on a leash. There aren't any doggie bags at the park so be sure to bring your own so you can clean up after your dogs. Park hours only. Since this has been muggled several times, it has been moved to a different spot. Please put it back out of sight so the kids playing and having fun don't see it too easily.
