Kätkön löytämiseksi sinun tulee käydä kahdella muistomerkillä Marttilassa. Muistomerkeillä kannattaa käydä mainitussa järjestyksessä, sillä kätkö on aivan taistelun muistomerkin lähellä.
To find this cache, you need to visit two memorials in Marttila. The first one is the memorial of the last beheading in Finland. The second one is the memorial of battle of the Cudgel War. Suggestion is to go to those memorials in mentioned order, since the cache is close to the memorial of battle.
1. Tipilännummen mestauspaikka / Beheading in Tipilännummi (N 60° 35.122, E 022° 53.335).
Suomen viimeinen mestattu on isänsä tappanut marttilalainen Antti Antinpoika Hannula. Kätkön ensimmäinen osa vie sinut juuri tälle paikalle jossa Suomen viimeinen mastaus tapahtui.
The last person to be beheaded was Antti Antinpoika Hannula, who lived in Marttila. He killed his father. The first part of the cache is in the place, where this beheading happend.
2. Marttilan taistelun muistomerkki / Memorial of Marttila Battle (N 60° 35.769, E 022° 55.173).
Kätkön toinen osa vie sinut Nuijasodan muistomerkille. Marttilan kannalta merkittävin taistelu käytiin pitäjän alueella Nuijasodan jälkimainingeissa vuonna 1599. Kaarle-Herttuan voittoon päättyneestä taistelusta muistuttaa nupulakivistä muurattu muistomerkki, joka sijaitsee Härkätien varressa n. 2 km kirkolta Koskelle päin.
The second part of the cache is in The Memorial of The Cudgel War. The significant battle for Marttila was in the year of 1599. The Memorial was made for victory of Carl Duke. Memorial is located along The Ox Road about two kilometers from Church of Marttila to Koski.
