"The Ridge Trail along Massanutten Mountain needs caches!"
That's what we've been telling ourselves for a couple of years, and we've finally gotten off our lazy ..., I mean, we've finally taken it upon ourselves to placea few along the trail. The Ridge Trail is a mostly flat trail along the ridge of Massanutten Mountain (hey! I bet that's why they call it Ridge Trail!) that has some overlooks both into the kettle of Massanutten and out over the valley. Eventually, the trail will lead you to the peak (but we're not caching that far yet).
This is a small lock-and-lock just past the top of the stairs. It is NOT the orienteering marker hanging from the tree!
