HR Spomenik oslobođenja
Otkriven je na Delti 3.svibnja 1955., na desetu obljetnicu oslobođenja Rijeke. Matković je svojim velebnim spomenikom ovjekovječio borbe postrojbe 4.armije tadašnje Narodnooslobodilačke vojske, borbe za oslobođenje Rijeke. U travnju 1945. oslobodila je istočni dio grada, odnosno područje Sušaka, a zati 3. svibnja i zapadni dio, čime je grad ujedinjen u cjelinu koja je do tada razdvajala Riječina.
EN Liberation Monument on the Delta

DE Befreiungsdenkmal auf dem Delta
Befreiungsdenkmal wurde am 3. Mai 1955 Delta enthullt., und der zehnte Jahrestag der Befreiung des Flusses. Matkovic ist sein prachtiges Denkmal verewigt Kampftruppen der 4. Armee ehemaligen Volksbefreiungsarmee fur die Befreiung des Flusses kampfen. Im April 1945. Befreit den ostlichen Teil der Stadt, oder ein Gebiet, Susak, und Mai 3 und den westlichen Teil, der in der ganzen Stadt, die zuvor getrennt hatte Riječina vereint ist.
HR Most hrvatskih branitelja
Grad Rijeka 1996.godine usvojio je inicijativu da se u čast branitelja izgradi spomen - obilježje. Kao najpovoljnija lokacija odabrano je mjesto na Mrtvom kanalu, kao nastavak na glavnu pješačku komunikaciju Korzo - Jelačićev trg. Na taj način most postaje ujedno i spomenik i ulitarna građevina, trajna uspomena na sve hrvatske branitelje. Most je svečano otvoren 21.prosinca 2001, a projektno rješenje izradio je Studio 3LHD iz Zagreba. Zbog specifične rasvjete. Ovo novo obilježje Rijeke stvara dojam da lebdi iznad vode, efekt stvoren posebnom rasvjetom stoga je most posebno atraktivan noću. Memorijalni most hrvatskih branitelja, dugačak je 48m, a završava s impozantnim 9m visokim spomenikom.
EN Bridge Croatian Veterans
In 1996, the city of Rijeka adopted the initijative for a bridge to be constructed as a memorial in the honour of the defenders of the contry. A part of the Dead Canal was chosen as the best location, a continuation of the main pedestrian communication Korzo - Jelačić Square. Thus the bridge becomes both a memorial and a utiliti consrtuction, a permanent remembrance of all the Croatian defenders. The bridge was ceremoniously opened on 21st December 2001, the projest solution made by Studio 3LHD fron Zagreb. Due to its specificlightning, this neew Rijeka landmark gives the impression of being suspended above the water, the effect achieved with specil light - effects,so that it is quite an attraction at night. The Memorial Bridge of Croatian defenders is 48m long and ends with an impressive 9m tall monument.
