April 2023. The river trail where this cache was originally hidden has been under huge renovations by the Council for over a year and it has been a long time for us locals to wait to get down to our river and play. This is a temporary location just so you can get a glimpse of the river, and collect a smiley. Cache will soon be returned to the original position closer to the water.

Most ‘no through roads’ take you to a very ‘dead’ end, and add to the frustration of your day if you are already lost.
Others can take you to a magical spot where only the locals know about. They try to keep it free from ratbags and rubbish and knowing you cachers are very environmentally aware I know it is safe to bring you here to enjoy the surroundings. Sit and watch the bird life or wander along the riverbank and enjoy the quiet space. The horses might even venture down to this end of the river but please don't feed them - we don't want chewed fingers.
