O Trilho dos Gaios é um fantástico caminho que proporciona um contacto pleno com a natureza. Por este trilho poderá fazer belas caminhadas e passeios de btt, igualmente, irá ter a possibilidade de observar um dos percursos do rio Cavalos, bem como, diversos moinhos abandonados que se encontram ao longo deste trilho deslumbrante que é realizado entre pontes de madeira e quedas de água magnificas.
A cache
O percurso até à cache inicia-se ao pé do açude de cimento (pequeno pontão) e segue-se a caminhada pelo lado esquerdo do rio percorrendo cerca de 1 km até chegar à ultima ponte de madeira onde se encontra a cache.
Para chegar ao açude (inicio do Trilho dos Gaios) entre no Lugar Vale de Gaios e desloque-se até à zona da fonte (onde também se encontra uma cache) seguindo o caminho pela sua direita sempre a descer até chegar ao ponto mais baixo de Vale de Gaios.
Pode haver dificuldade ou impossibilidade de acesso à cache no inverno devido ao aumento do nível da água do rio. Coordenadas: N 040 graus 22.501 O 007 graus 57.970
