Geocache Description:

Russ and Thelma Huffman owned and operated a local pizza shop in Millcreek from 1980-1991. Most people in Erie knew about Huffy's.  The special was a large two item pizza and a liter of Coke for $5.00.  The liter of pop used to come in a cardboard container.  I spoke with Thelma the other day to verify the years they were in business.  How great it was to talk to her again.  She said, they only raised their price one time in 11 years. The pizza and pop special increased a whole quarter to  $5.25.

Many fond memories of Huffy's for lots of local people. It was a great place to just hang out with friends and get a bite to eat.  Also, you can't forget Pac Man!  It was a huge hit at the time. I wish I could have back all the quarters I put in that machine.  This was also one of my first places of employment.  I couldn't wait to be old enough for Russ to hire me.  Russ and Thelma were the best to work for and you got to see everyone from the area. All-in-all just a great place to be.
