This cache is placed to thank collapsable tank for getting yukon huskies and me into tree climbing.
Under no cicumstances attempt this cache unless you can climb trees using ropes like a tree surgeon
If you do attempt this cache you will be rewarded with great views,from being up in the tree, however you will get good views from the ground as well.
EQUIPMENT NEEDED
hard hat, 50m rope, climbing harness, and associated equipment. A SAFETY BUDDY and a PEN, there is no pen in the cache
you may sign your saftey buddy into the cache.
The cache it self is a 35mm film pot inside a cliplock box, secured to the tree, the lid of the cliplock box is attached by a chain
i was going to use the tree next door, (lower down), and make this cache a field puzzle as well, however between doing the recce and gaining permission and placing the cache, this tree suffered some damaged and is a little unsafe now
this cache has been placed with the kind permission of the land owner, with this in mind, can all cachers attempting this cache PLEASE respect the following.
From the trail head please follow the hedge line to the kissing gate, and do not walk across the field (this will only take you another 30-60 seconds), as they are trying to get the footpath moved to follow the hedgeline. Also please do not attempt this cache from the end of October to the end of feburary on Saturdays this is because at these times there will be other activities taking place on the land. Although you should not be in danger the land owner wishes to ensure that there is no chance of an accident. If this last proviso is ignored then the land owner will contact me to remove the cache.
