Esta cache encontra-se na zona da Lomba dos Frades. A ilha do Faial tem muitas falhas activas, e esta lomba resulta da existência de uma falha que se encontra entre as freguesias da Praia do Almoxarife e de Pedro Miguel. Em 1465, desembarcou Joss Van Hurtere com mais 15 flamengos com o intuito de explorar os recursos da ilha e de a povoar. Curiosamente, os primeiros povoadores da ilha decidiram fixar-se na zona da Lomba dos Frades. Quem sabe se na tua aventura à procura da cache não encontrarás vestígios dos primeiros habitantes do Faial!
