Geocache Description:

This cache will walk you around a Michigan Historic Site.  This restored church, known to be the location where the hymn, "The Old Rugged Cross" was first sang in public, after being composed by Reverend George Bennard.  This was a favorite hymn of Mrs. Epoch13's father who often sang it in the choir in Albion, MI where, Reverend Bennard first started composing this song.
