Details for the walk.
This is a circular walk of about 3 to 4 miles through woodland and fields, excellent views and bumble bees seem to thrive in this area.
The cache is a clip-lock box suitable for trackables.
Please also ensure cache is well hidden and camouflaged afterwards.
Location and information
The Evanescence stroll is a series of 9 caches. The series consists of eight standard caches and one bonus.
Placed by Scarlett Pedersen in 2014.
This series is dedicated to my favourite band Evanescence which is an American rock band from Little Rock Arkansas. The band was founded in 1995 by lead singer Amy Lee and former band member guitarist Ben Moody. They had their break through in 2003 with their album Fallen which sold more than 15 million copies.
They are best known for their songs 'Bring me to life" and "My Immortal".
The walk involves hills and some muddy terrain, so please ensure you have good walking boots and are prepared for any hills involved. There are several stiles on the walk, please also keep dogs on a lead in fields where there are livestock.
Due to the land between Evanescence 01 and 02 being SSSI - it was not possible to place a cache along here - it was refused - this is why there is a large gap.

Cross stile here at Waypoint 01. [N 51° 14.103 E 000° 58.453]
Walk slightly diagonally right up the field and head to Waypoint 02. [N 51° 14.027 E 000° 58.683]
Through the gate in the top corner of this field, then a few metres forward. Turn right here and follow narrow path back into woods.

Walk along woodland path for Waypoint 03. Over this stile, then turn left here and walk up the escarpment. When you reach the top, turn right then along the escarpment upper footpath and through the gate. There are fantastic views along here!
