Fortress lake is a Strenuous 5km (one way) trip through Fortress Mountian Ski Area. It's up the back side double chair and over the ridge, located under the eastern cliff of the Fortress. It's best to refer to a Kanaskis country trail guide for the appropriate route. Snowshoes (& ice auger for those who fish) are usally required between October & late May. Weather in the mountians is often unpredictable, so be prepared for anything!

- Fastening buckles (2)
- Ice fishing jig
- Wildflowers
- 1967 Impala ornament
