Valley View (RM1) Traditional Cache

This cache has been archived.

Southerntrekker: Hi There

As the owner has not responded to either my log or my colleague's previous log requesting that they check this cache I am archiving it.

Please note that once the cache has been archived, this can not be undone. This is explained in the Help Center - http://support.groundspeak.com//index.php?pg=kb.page&id=70

You will need to create a new listing, put it back in for review and as long as it meets today's guidelines and no other caches have been published in the area causing a proximity problem, then it will be published.

Regards

Geocache Description:

Thought it was about time we set some of our own caches as we have enjoyed finding other peoples so much. This being our first attempt we have made it an easy to park, drive by, that should be fairly straight forward and is situated on the side of a footpath.

The Cache is located in the Conwy Valley and overlooks the River Conwy and is set within the Snowdonia Park. There are splendid views up and down the valley and of the hills either side of the river. Numerous footpaths cross the valley leading to quaint little villages or off up into the hills, a mecca for walkers. For those in need of refreshment there is a watering hole in sight of the cache. Near the village of Rowan there is a Pancake House and a Fishery that has Otters that can be viewed especially at feeding times, great for the geo kids. The area is dog friendly but be careful of livestock especially in Spring due to the arrival of hundreds of lambs. There are numerous types of caches set in the area so before venturing out do a quick download of a few they will keep you going for days. There is no need to go through or over the gate nearby but you have to negotiate a stile that can sometimes be obscured by hedgerow. Happy caching.

Well done to andycop & Scubapingu for JFTF 10 Apr 14
