The route is steep and rocky but there is no need for technical
gear. By the shortest route it will probably take some five hours
to ascend 450 metres and return.
Adamastor, the brooding Titan of the Southern Cape Peninsula,
cautions those “… who come in search for fleece of gold, within the
limits of my dread domain”. This warning might seem superfluous in
the face of man’s activities. The message is to physically avoid
disturbing any environmentally sensitive area yet to show that
self-imposed restrictions need not detract in any way from the pure
magic, adventure and enjoyment that is geocaching. At the
coordinates listed you will see a man-made contrivance. The clue is
that here at Adamastor Virtual Cache -Type Brevity, you will find
Board but no Lodging. To claim this virtual cache, you must send me
