Kunnioitathan saaressa ja järvellä liikkuessasi lunnon ja lintujen rauhaa, erityisesti pesimäaikaan.

Alvajärvellä voit halutessasi kokeilla myös kalaonnea.

Järveltä useimmiten nappaa hauki, kuha tai särki. Myös ahvenia ja siikoja on järvestä saatu. Järven rapukantakin on pikkuhiljaa elpymässä.

Kätkölle pääsee talvisin moottorikelkalla, hiihtäen, kävellen tai kylmänä talvena jopa autolla. Kesäisin kätkölle pääsee veneellä. Auton voi jättää Karhilanrantaan, jossa on myös veneen vesillelaskupaikka.

Alvajärven matalikot ja saarten rannat ovat monin paikoin kovin kivisiä, joten etene rantaan varoen.

The lake often offers you pike, pike-perch and roach. There are also perches and whitefishes been captured from the lake. Lake's crab stocks are gradually recovering.

In winter, you can walk by the cache, ski there or use a snowmobile, or in cold winter even by a car! During the summer, the cache is accessible by boat.
