Die Stromstrasse gibt es seit 1877, sie verläuft auf einem bei der Donauregulierung von 1868 bis 1875 zugeschütteten Arm des Donaustroms.
Der Platz bietet nicht wirklich die schönste Aussicht und man wird auch kulturelle Highlights vermissen, aber die Stelle hat sich irgendwie für einen Cache angeboten. Da es aber in der nächsten Umgebung mehrere Kaffeehäuser und Supermärkte gibt, ist der Platz nicht sooo schlecht ;-)

The current road, named "Stromstrasse" is there since 1877. It runs on a arm of the River Danube, that has been filled during the regulation of the Danube from 1868 to 1875.
The place does not really offer the best views and you will miss cultural highlights, but it has somehow volunteered for a cache. Anyway, there are a couple of restaurants and shops nearby, so it is not that bad ;-)
