Algarrobo es un municipio al este de Andalucía de Vélez-Málaga y al sur de Sayalonga.
El municipio se extiende hasta el Mediterráneo, donde el pueblo principal, el pueblo de Algarrobo, a unos 3,5 km de la costa.
Frente a la costa se encuentra el barrio Algarrobo Costa, zonas más pobladas son Mezquitilla y Trayamar.

Algarrobo is an Andalusian municipality east of Vélez-Málaga and south of Sayalonga.
The municipality extends to the Mediterranean, where the main village, the village of Algarrobo, about 3.5 km away from the coast.
Just off the coast lies the suburb Algarrobo Costa, more populated areas are Mezquitilla and Trayamar.

Das Gemeindegebiet reicht bis an das Mittelmeer, wobei der Hauptort, das Dorf Algarrobo, etwa 3,5 km von der Küste entfernt ist.
Direkt an der Küste liegt der Vorort Algarrobo Costa, weitere bewohnte Gebiete sind Mezquitilla und Trayamar.
