Mission to Merton Traditional Cache

This cache has been archived.

biltal: After sTeamTraen's FTF I went to check on the cache and it is indeed gone. The pile of brick & stone that it was hidden under was scattered all around the immediate area. There was no sign of the container or logbook anywhere to be found. A run of almost 2-1/2 years is pretty good for an urban cache and I want to thank everyone who visited, especially those for whom it was their first cache find.

While searching for the cache a very nice young woman who was walking her dog asked me if I'd lost something. I told her about geocaching and she seemed genuinely delighted by the concept. Hopefully she'll visit the website and become an active geocacher. It's good to see that in this great urban jungle people can still be friendly and unafraid to talk to strangers, even a rough-looking character like me!

Regards to all my fellow cachers, Bob.
