Whether you’re a Social Butterfly or a Nature Lover, a Stats Geek, Traveler, or Puzzler (take the quiz and find out your geocacher type), here is your chance to meet and say thank you to a geocache maker in the Garland/Rowlett/Rockwall area. On April 7, 2014, I will hold an event (my first) to coincide with the Maker Madness Celebration. The event will be held at 'Pancho and Lefty's' in Rowlett (8301 Lakeview Pkwy #113) starting at 6pm and ending at 8pm. Bring a wallet, food (and drink) is available for purchase.
If you are new to Geocaching, bring your questions on how to make a 'favorite' cache. If you've been at this for a while, feel free to swap tails on your greatest experiences and favorite caches. The agenda is to come in and get some food in your belly, meet/greet/socialize till 7pm. From there, socialize some more and I'll have a door prize drawing (or three). You don't have to be here by six, but if you want a chance at the door prizes, ya' gotta be here by seven.
I'll bring along some cache containers that I am currently working on and if you are so inclined, please feel free to do so as well. I'll get a table set up for discoverable items and trackables that need to be moved along, so bring them along if you have any!
Bring any TB's you might have that need a new home, I'm bringing a few and hope to have them discovered and moved along as necessary. Looking forward to Monday night!
