Geocache Description:

The Church of the Immaculate Conception
Spinkhill

Built in 1846 by Joseph Hansom, with extensions of 1864 and 1966. Roof carried on elaborate corbels which support roof posts. Tall Early English style chancel arch, alabaster reredos of 1904. Contemporary reredos with upper part of 1904. Chancel north chapel with diminutive hammer beam roof. 2002 - 5 scheme of eight nave windows by Mark Angus.
