This cache is being released as part of the ‘Twixt Spring ‘n Summer Geo-Meet 2014. This cache is located in Benson’s Park in Hudson NH. Parking can be found at N 42 46.145 W 071 24.257 Benson Park Hours of Operation: May 1 to August 31 -- 5:00 AM to 9:00 PM September 1 to October 31 -- 5:00 AM to 7:00 PM November 1 to February 29 -- 5:00 AM to 5:00 PM March 1 to April 30 -- 5:00 AM to 7:00 PM. This story starts on February 26, 2014 when Christopher Robin was sitting on his bed with his old friend Pooh. This being the 3rd day of February school vacation boredom had set in. “What ever should we do Pooh?” Christopher exclaimed in exasperation. “I’m so bored!” sighed Christopher. Pooh the ever so quiet and thoughtful type poked at his head and said “Think, Think, Think.” Christopher stated to his little buddy “We have played lego’s, hide and seek, and video games till my fingers hurt! What ever shall we do?”. Pooh continued to poke at his head muttering “Think, Think, Think.”. After what seemed like an eternity Pooh offered “Christopher, I have an idea. Why don’t we go out into the 100 acre wood for a hike?”. “The 100 acre wood in winter?” replied Christopher. “Why yes. We can walk the Moose Pond Trail, The Haselton Farm trail, The Oak Ridge Trail, and return via The Otter Way. It will be a great time.”. So Christopher donned his boots, Jacket, Hat, and Mittens and headed out the door with Pooh. The two companions followed the Moose Pond Trail until it joined the Haselton Farm Trail then followed the Haselton Farm Trial out deeper into the 100 acre woods. When they were about a half mile from the parking lot Pooh exclaimed “Christopher? I have a grumbly in my tumbly!”. “I’m sorry Pooh but in my haste I didn’t pack any snacks.” Christopher replied. “OOOH Christopher, It’s not that type of Grumbly!” whimpered Pooh. “Can you hold it?” asked Christopher. “I don’t think so Christopher, and I’m starting to regret that last pot of honey.” moaned Pooh. “Let’s find a quiet spot where we can think for a moment, I’m sure we can come up with a solution to this problem.” offered Christopher, and a moment later they found just the spot where Pooh could sit down and Think!
