Welcome to Berea, KY!



Berea, KY is located in the foothills of the Appalachian mountains. It is home to Berea College and is widely recognized as the "Arts and Crafts Capital" of Kentucky.

Thank You For Seeking Out This Geocache! It Is Part of the 2016-2017 Berea Chamber of Commerce GeoTour. The geocache contains a log sheet and a GeoTour keyword. Sign the log sheet and record the keyword for your Berea Chamber of Commerce GeoTour Expedition Guide, which can be found at: http://www.bereachamber.com/GeoTour-(GT78)

This Wherigo has been placed as part of the 1st Annual Berea Geocaching Weekend! It is a short tour of interesting sites related to ecology, gardens, and art around Berea, KY. Enjoy some of the places and things that make Berea unique!

Start at the Welcome Center and Tourism Office in Berea, KY. The address is 3 Artist Circle, Berea, KY 40403.

While most of this wherigo should be wheel chair accessible, some of the zones may not reach the sidewalks because of the differences in GPS recievers and the accuracy of the receiver. The terrain of 2 is only for the total distance of the wherigo. The total distance is about 1 mile.
