The Bridal Path #1 Traditional Geocache

Cache is a small container located on the "Bridal Path" in Kennebunk, Maine. The Bridal Path is an old inactive rail-road bed that originally ran from the Kennebunk Rail Depot southwards towards Kennebunk beach and then eastward to Kennebunkport around the turn of the century.

 

There are several other caches located on the Bridal Path. Today it is mainly used for biking, running, hiking, dog walking, and horse riding (hence the name). The Rachel Carson Wildlife Preserve borders the path in several spots. You will not enter the Preserve to find this cache, as the cache is within the ROW of the trail which is not part of the Preserve.
