In order to celebrate the 150th Anniversary of the American Civil War in Georgia, the city of Marietta, Georgia is putting on a geocaching event!
Registered participants will arrive at Laurel Park to sign in on Saturday, May 17th at 10 a.m. From there, participants will be in groups of 5 or fewer and will be given clues to follow that lead to a series of locations throughout Marietta that relate to our city's rich Civil War history.
Some locations include games or other activities to complete in order to move on to the next spot.
Prizes available!!
Registration is $10 per participant and includes lunch, a "Great Geocaching Battle of Marietta" t-shirt, and other fun goodies... Registration ends Sunday May 4th at 7:00 pm.
