PINACOTECA DO ESTADO DE SÃO PAULO
Este é um dos mais importantes museus de arte do Brasil. Ocupa um edifício no Jardim da Luz, no centro de São Paulo, projetado por Ramos de Azevedo e Domiziano Rossi para ser a sede do Liceu de Artes e Ofícios. É o mais antigo museu de arte de São Paulo, fundado em 1905 e regulamentado como museu público estadual desde 1911. Após a reforma conduzida por Paulo Mendes da Rocha na década de 1990, tornou-se uma das mais dinâmicas instituições culturais do país, integrando-se ao circuito internacional de exposições, promovendo eventos culturais diversos e mantendo uma ativa produção bibliográfica. A Pinacoteca do Estado abriga um dos maiores e mais representativos acervos de arte brasileira, com quase oito mil peças abrangendo majoritariamente a história da pintura brasileira dos séculos XIX e XX.

SÃO PAULO STATE PINACOTHECA
This is one of the most important art museums in Brazil. It occupies a building in Luz Garden, in the center of São Paulo, projected by Ramos de Azevedo and Domiziano Rossi to be the headquarters of Liceu de Artes e Ofícios. This is the oldest art museum in São Paulo, created in 1905 and regulated as public museum since 1911. After the maintenance work made by Paulo Mendes da Rocha in 1990, It became one of the most dinamic cultural institutions of the country, being part of the international exhibit circuit, promoting cultural events and maintaining an active bibliographic production. The State Pinacotheca holds one of the greatest and more representative works from Brazilian art, with almost eight thousand pieces mainly from the Brazilian painting history from XIX and XX centuries.
