The CCD has quickly become a landmark building. Its stunning design includes a unique glass-fronted atrium running the full height of the building, which gives visitors panoramic views of the River Liffey, Dublin city centre and the Wicklow mountains.
It includes 22 purpose-built meeting rooms, a 2,000 seat Auditorium with full theatrical stage and fly tower, and banqueting facilities for up to 3,000 guests.
Irelands largest ever pour of concrete took place on 25 April, 2008, with 6,000 tonnes of low-carbon concrete pumped into the CCD by 360 trucks in 17 hours.
The view from the cache location is most impressive, and especially in the evening when lit up.
