Geocache Description:

Itasca Park in Ramsey

Who is that man behind the camera? it is Langlie!! Today, we celebrate his accomplishment and Milestone of 10K finds; the 27th active cacher in MN to do so. Not only is he prolific in making finds; he has added to the geocaching community by publishing almost 250 hides, with more to come I am sure. A warm greeting and smile will be waiting for you, when you meet him on the trail. If you are looking for a little help on an elusive hide; he is sure to have some words of wisdom for you. He has taken on a very important role in the geocaching community; capturing the whereabouts and doings of other cachers at events, tributes, and anywhere else it seems appropriate with his camera. Congratulations Mike, on reaching this Milestone and a big thanks for being part of this community of cachers!!

WOO HOO!!!! 10,000 finds!!!!
Langlie is our official Twin Cities Geocaching events photographer. If you've been to a few events or a WNC, there's a good chance you might see a guy with a tripod and a camera taking the BAG photo. That's Langlie!!! I've had the pleasure of caching with him more then a few times and every time we do our friendship grows. Even his wife and son Dalton (who has way more finds then me) are cachers. He loves the sport and has contributed to the game with 246 hides for our caching enjoyment. I'm glad to be part of this tribute and to be called your friend.
CONGRATS from J*B!

Congratulations Mike on 10,000 finds, and thank you for all your great hides. Looking forward to getting back to brainerd with you for some more bike trail caches.Keep up the good work.

Mike is the first cacher I'm met "in the wild" as he beat me to a FTF years ago. Since then we've canoe cached together, mountain bike cached together and swapped info on finding the tough ones. He's just an all around good-guy and I'm glad to have met him, that day, crouched in a bush, hair like a young Albert Einstein, cache in-hand. Congrats in your milestone, Mike!!!

Congratulations on 10,000 finds, Langlie! I've had the pleasure of caching with Langlie and his family a few times. He is easy going and I appreciate him taking the time to visit with me when we meet at an event. Whether he intended to or not he has become our event photographer, which he does very well. April has also enjoyed caching with Bear.

I just want to congratulate Langlie this next milestone of 10,000 finds!!!! I have been with you on many GREAT adventures. Thanks Langlie. I have not been with you on very many of your last 5000 caches, but it has still been GOOD TIMES every time we get together. Langlie is one of the nicest guys out there. He always has a great attitude on every adventure he takes.
ICEMAN WINTER

I remember the first time that we cached together. Langlie and MasterD! were on their way to hide a giant pine cone cache, but were going to pick up a couple on the way. Mike asked me if I would like to join them and off we went. We have had several other caching adventures together since then and they have all been enjoyable. Mike is a great guy who has also contributed to this great sport by hiding 248 caches. We had a running joke when searching for a Langlie hide for the first time that we should just DNF it now. Because for some reason we usually had to return a second time (on several of his caches!) in order to find the well placed hide. Also, thanks for having that camera at the many events to help capture the group. Keep up the good work Mike and congratulations!
