Le lavoir du Gué-Hébert dit Guébé
Ce cache se trouve la charmante commune de Rânes situé dans l’Orne . Elle est située au centre du département à 21 km d’Argentan, 19 km de Bagnoles de l’Orne, 34 km de Falaise, 40 km d’Alençon et 210 km de Paris.
Situé sur la route d’Ecouché au lieu-dit « La Berrerie », ce lavoir témoigne de la vie quotidienne des générations passées puisqu’il servait autrefois aux habitants de la commune comme point de rencontre. La construction du lavoir du Gué-Hébert remonte au début du XIXème siècle. Il fut construit au bord du ruisseau, la Rânette. En septembre 1881, les crues de la Rânette emportèrent un mur du lavoir et il fallut le restaurer. A la Libération, en 1944, de nouveau très endommagé, il fut restauré et recouvert de tuiles mécaniques. Les plans et les devis de restauration des années 1880 ayant été retrouvés aux Archives départementales, le Maire, décida de restaurer le lavoir. Avec l'aide du Parc naturel régional Normandie-Maine et de son architecte, du Pays d'Accueil, la municipalité le restaure en se conformant aux plans et devis du XIXème siècle

This cache is the charming town of Ranes located in Orne. It is located in the center of the department of Argentan at 21 km , 19 km of Bagnoles , 34 km from Falaise , 40 km from Alençon and 210 km from Paris .
Located on the Ecouché road at a place called "The Berrerie " wash it reflects the daily life of past generations once served as the inhabitants of the town as a meeting point . The construction of the wash -Hébert Ford back in the early nineteenth century. It was built in the stream, the Rânette . In September 1881 , the floods of Rânette prevailed wash a wall and had to restore. After the Liberation in 1944 , very damaged again , it was restored and covered with roof tiles . Plans and specifications for the restoration of the 1880s have been found in the departmental archives , the Mayor decided to restore the wash . With the help of Normandy Maine Natural Park and its architect, the Host Country , the municipality restores in accordance with the plans and specifications of the nineteenth century
