La brasserie-malterie Mascaut a été fondée au XIXe siècle par Georges et Jean Mascaut. Il s'agissait d'une ferme-brasserie-malterie qui a fonctionné jusqu'en 1935 qui n'a pas été reprise par la suite. Cette entreprise employait une dizaine de personnes en 1930. Elle a été reconvertie en magasin de meubles. Les bâtiments sont inscrits à l'inventaire des monuments historiques depuis le 30 août 1999.

Brewery-malting Mascaut was founded in the nineteenth century by George and Jean Mascaut. It was a farm-brewery-malting which operated until 1935 was not subsequently reversed.
