The old airfield of Dundaga Traditional Geocache

The cache itself is a pet-bottle kit add with logbook and pen. The cache is in the territory of the old airfield of Dundaga.

There is no information about private territory - just go and look for it. Drive in/ drive out. :)

There is no other additional information about the airfield but, promise, will find it and add. So - just enjoy.
 

Wanted to show this part of Dundaga. After the Soviet times were away and there were not anymore big collective farming (kolhozs - in Latvian), the people didn't use airplanes anymore (called kukuružņiki or slow biplanes) and the airfield stopped its work. Later people came there to use the runway for learning to drive cars. This was also the place where the street-racers met.
