ZEPPELIN HALL Multi-cache

W miejscu, w którym stoisz w 1913 roku powstała Hala Zeppelinów, czyli hangar dla sterowców oraz innych statków powietrznych. Przetrwała ponad 30 lat i gościła takich tuzów jak m.in. Charles de Gaulle.

Niewiele po niej zostało, ale musiała robić wrażenie.

Na pasie zieleni Alei Solidarności można zaobserwować wyłaniające się z ziemi betonowe elementy fundamentów hali, a w parku za pobliskim supermarketem można się natknąć na betonowe bloki z obręczami cumowymi.

In 1913 there was a Zeppelin Hall built in the place you're standing at. It was meant for zeppelins and other flying machines. It stood there for over 30 years and was visited by, among others, Charles de Gaulle.

There's not much left, but it was surely impressive.

In the middle of the Solidarności Avenue you can see concrete elements of the hall's foundations and in the park behind the supermarket nearby there are concrete blocks with mooring hoops.
