Surplombant les Gorges de la Dourbie, cette via ferrata vous donnera un maximum de sensation avec de superbes points de vue sur le causse du Larzac, le village du Monna en contrebas dans sa vallée ou encore de Millau et son viaduc en toile de fond.
Le site de Boffi est magnifique. En plus des panoramas grandioses, on peut contempler le vol des rapaces, vautours et aigles, ainsi que des craves à becs rouges qui vous côtoies sur les falaises de la via et au-dessus de vos têtes !! (Toutes ces espèces sont protégées).
L’accès à la via est fermé pour cause de nidification par arrêté préfectoral de protection du biotope du 15 mars au 15 juin.
Réalisée en 2002, cette via de 800 m de long et 80 m de dénivelé se trouve sur une falaise exposée plein ouest, elle offre 2 parcours.
Une première partie commune, commence par une passerelle suivie d'un petit pont de singe. Une descente et un sentier vous amènent à une traversée aérienne qui aboutit à la bifurcation des 2 itinéraires.
• Le parcours facile continue vers le haut. Il s'agit d'une traversée et d'un petit ressaut. On arrive à un nouveau point de jonction et on termine par une grande vire facile.
• Le parcours difficile, vers le bas, est très aérien avec des parties impressionnantes de gaz. A partir de là, je vous laisse apprécier la traversée qui se fait sur un léger surplomb, ce qui donne l'impression de marcher dans le vide !
La boite se situe sur ce tronçon, après le double pont de singe, au niveau de l’aplat dans la verticale. Suite à cette montée, appréciez le point de vue qui vous est offert. La suite est une longue vire qui rejoint le premier parcours. Au vue de la proximité de la falaise, les coordonnées sont forcement faussées, merci d'en tenir compte.
Du parking préconisé, comptez 0h20 d’approche, 1h à 2h de temps de via (tranquille!) et 0h30 de retour.
L’accès au site est gratuit mais vous pouvez vous procurez un petit topo guide en vente à l'Office de Tourisme de Millau pour 1 euro.

Overhanging the Gorges of Dourbie, this via ferrata will give you a maximum of sensation with magnificent points of view onto the limestone plateau of Larzac, the village of Monna below in its valley or still Millau and its viaduct in the background.
The site of Boffi is magnificent. Besides the grand panoramas, we can contemplate the flight of birds of prey, vultures and eagles, as well as choughs with red beaks who are go alongside to you on the cliffs of it via and over your heads!! (All these species are protected).
The access in it via is closed because of nesting by order of the prefect of protection of the biotope from March 15th till June 15th.

A common first part begins with a footbridge followed by a small bridge of monkey. A descent and a path bring you to an air crossing which ends in the fork of 2 routes.
· The easy route continues upward. It is about a crossing and about a small projection. We arrive at a new junction point and we end with a big easy ledge.
· The difficult course, downward, is very air with impressive parts of gas. From there, I let you appreciate the crossing which is made on a light overhang, what gives the impression of walking in the space!
The box is situated on this section, after the double bridge of monkey, at the level of the flat in the vertical line. Further to this ascent, appreciate the point of view which is offered to you. The continuation is a long ledge which joins the first route. In view of the closeness of the cliff, coordinates are forcing falsified, thank you for taking into account it..
Of the recommended parking lot, count 0h20 of approach, 1 hour at 2 of time of via (quiet!) and 0h30 of return.
The access to the site is free but you can you get a small rundown guide on sale in the Tourist office of Millau for 1 euro.
