Geocache Description:

This is the twelfth cache on a walk of about 4.5 miles in beautiful Dartmoor countryside. The route is fairly level with only 1 significant down and up between 1 and 8. A stream crossing is required at 10 and then the terrain is rough until 12. A couple of the caches require more agility than others. The path is ok again from here! Enter the Devon Wildlife Trust Nature Reserve via the small gate.

This series of caches has been put out in memory of my Dad who sadly passed away suddenly in April. He always said to us 'Going Geo-nutcasing today then?' So I wanted to use this in the cache titles. Having placed a series near Bradworthy in North Devon where I grew up, I wanted to do one where I live now and have also spent a lot of time since he died. He also actually did find a cache with us in this area so thought it appropriate. So I hope you all enjoy going geo-nutcasing and finding this series of caches.

This one is on the outskirts of Emsworthy.

Please re-hide well. Thank you.

The weather on Dartmoor can change suddenly and unexpectedly and ALL types of weather conditions can be experienced. Please ensure that you have the correct clothing and map and compass (and know how to use them). Please do NOT rely solely on your GPS.

I would like to thank the Dartmoor National Park Authority for their kind permission to place this cache, which has been placed according to their geocaching guidelines.
