Geocache Description:

A two-stage multi in False Cape State Park. Always come prepared with water, insect repellent and sunscreen. Access to False Cape State Park is obtained by hiking or bicycling through the Back Bay National Wildlife Refuge, by boating across the Back Bay or on the beach from the VA/NC border. Parking is available at the Back Bay National Wildlife Refuge visitor center or at the Little Island City Park. Fees and access hours for these parking areas vary with the seasons.

When you open the first stage, you will find six different seashells, all found at False Cape. Each of the shells is numbered. Identifying and arranging the shells in the correct order will reveal the locatiion of the final stage.

Final stage is located at:

N 36 34.ABC

W 075 52.DEF

A= Channeled whelk
B= Knobbed whelk
C= Lightening whelk

Know your shells or you might be out there all day! If you find yourself doing some serious bushwacking, you have the incorrect solution.
