Geocache Description:

Welcome to the Tillamook County Quilt Trail. Located on the beautiful and scenic North Oregon Coast, the Quilt Trail showcases the great rural heritage of dairy farming and quilting by featuring painted wooden quilt blocks on historic barns and buildings in Tillamook County. Your quest will be to locate nearly 100 wooden Quilt Block's, of which, some will be regular caches and some will be multi caches.

A few things to remember: 1. Some of the Quilt Blocks are on private residential property and operating businesses. Please respect the owner's wishes and adhere to the instructions given on the cache. If you can enter private property, you will be advised; otherwise, stay out! 2. The coordinates provided will get you within sight of the Quilt Blocks. Some further away than others. 3. As always, be safe, and watch for traffic. Not at the posted Coordinates. WP #1 - Gerald's Crown (No Trespassing).  Go to the posted Coordinates. Question:  How many black/red triangles are on the Quilt Block?  Answer: ____ WP #2 - Stained Glass Diamond.  Go to N 45 25.342 W 123 47.874. Question:  How many white triangles are on the Quilt Block?  Answer: ____ This Quilt Block has been removed for maintenance. The answer to the question is 4 WP #3 - Fool's Puzzle.  Go to N 45 25.380 W 123 47.743. Question: Now many red objects are shown on the Quilt Block?   Answer:  ____ Final Coordinates:  N 45 25.123  W 123 47.ABC WP #1:  A = (Number of black/red triangles) + 2 = ____ WP #2:  B = (Number of white triangles) + 5 = ____ WP #3:  C = (Number of red objects) - 9 = ____ Check Sum = 18 This is a loop trail, take the right trail that goes by the large Western Hemlock sign. Follow trail for approx. 0.25 miles. At the end of the secondary trail is a very large tree, behind it is another big tree, start looking. Cache is a 6" x 6" x 2" L&L camo container.  Room for swag.
