I was staying in the nearby hotel, Le Canton, for a Latin American Sales Meeting my company was having. I was bummed that there were no caches within walking distance. I decided to walk further down the road past the hotel and place one!
You are looking for a small camouflaged container near the side of the road. No bush whacking is required. I averaged the coordinates for about 5 minutes so they should be pretty close. There is room for small trackables, but not too much room! Please bring your own pen. The nearby “resort” is a slice of Switzerland and Disneyland all in the mountains of Brazil. A very interesting place! The location is 2,700 feet (825 meters) above sea level so it is always quite a bit cooler than Rio de Janeiro. Be careful of muggles approaching in cars and motorcycles as well as possible muggles on the other side of the hedge! The walk from the hotel is a little more than half of a mile round trip.

As I travel to this part of Brazil several times per year, I will be able to maintain this cache myself in a reasonable time period. Please let me know if anyone finds any issues with the condition of the cache!
