Holy Rood church in Packington is situated in the village where I currently live. This is my first geocache hide - I hope you like it. THE CACHE IS NOT SITUATED IN THE CHURCH GROUNDS
The Church is dedicated to the Holy rood, it is a grade 2 listed building, it is an ancient structure, dating from at least 1220 with a tower containing four bells. There is very little history to be found on this church on the internet so I have not said very much about it. I am sure you will enjoy your visit
This is the steps at the church can anyone tell me why these steps are here?
There is a car park along side to allow easy access to the cache which can be done as a drive-by
