Geocache Description:

The Church of St Michael, Rushock, stands on the top of a bank with spectacular views. It is a Grade II listed building erected, according to Pevsner, in 1756-58 by Roger Eykyn of Wolverhampton and restored in 1871-72 by T D Baker of Kidderminster. It consists of a shallow chancel, North vestry, transepts, nave with West gallery and tower. Built into the tower walls are a few carved stone fragments of an earlier church, probably that known to have been consecrated in October 1285. The tower houses two bells: a treble by C & G Mears, 1853; and a tenor (cracked), with the inscription 'All prayse and glory be to God for ever D.L. C.W. 1681’, by John Martin.

The church is always open. The visitors’ book is full of signatures from people around the world who come to visit the grave of John Bonham, the renowned drummer of heavy rock band Led Zeppelin, located on the North side of the churchyard.

The listed co-ordinates are for a newly constructed bench at the start of an old ‘coffin road’ along which residents of Rushock made the journey to their final resting place in the churchyard at St Cassian’s, Chaddesley Corbett, in the days before the burial ground at Rushock was consecrated.

The cache itself can be found at: N 52° 20.ABC W 002° 10.XYZ.

There are two dates on the bench:
ABC = Subtract 1608 from the first date;
XYZ = Subtract 1520 from the second date.

You are looking for a clip lock container with swaps for the kids.
