An open cultural heritage seminar titled "Geocaching: Innovative and Attractive Method for Cultural Heritage Animation" is held by Smile Family at Kaunas Cultural Centre of Various Nations (Sv.Gertrudos St. 58, Kaunas, Lithuania) at 4:00 PM on Monday, November 25, 2013. We plan, that 4-6 Lithuanian geocachers will speak about geocaching and present the possibilities of using it. The event is dedicated to geocachers, but not only them. We'll invite some guests: teachers and students of higher educational institutions, museum employees and cultural heritage specialists, other employees of educational and cultural institutions. So it is an event, which is open to all who wish to participate, including those who have merely heard of geocaching or even know nothing about it. One of the goals of the seminar is to spread positive information on geocaching and to reduce the separation between the geocachers and the remaining part of the society. We kindly ask all the geocachers participating in the seminar to be active and share their experiences with other participants. You will also receive an event logbook. Please bring the trackables with you (GC or TB). If you have any interesting containers, please bring them along as well. The duration of the seminar will be up to 1.5 hours. After the event, the participants will be offered to test their skills looking for geocaches in the Old Town of Kaunas.
