The Inaugural Super Bowl was contested on 15 January 1967, and saw the Green Bay Packers defeat the Kansas City Chiefs 35-10. The MVP (Most Valuable Player) Award was picked up by Green Bay’s aptly named quarterback Bart Starr. Super Bowl II, played on January 14 1968, was also won by Green Bay, this time beating the Oakland Raiders by 33-14. Starr once again picked up the MVP award, making him to date one of only five players to pick up the award on more than one occasion. On February 5, 2017, Tom Brady picked up his fourth MVP award after engineering an incredible comeback to win Super Bowl LI, giving him the most MVP awards of any player in NFL history - one more than 49ers legend Joe Montana.
