Die überwältigende Aussicht nach Rhodos in der einen und Faliráki in der anderen Richtung war es uns wert, hier einen Cache zu verstecken.
Ihr könnt den Aussichtspunkt von der Küstenstraße aus in etwa 15 - 20 Minuten zu Fuß oder aber auch ganz bequem mit dem Cachemobil erreichen. Vor der kleinen Kapelle gibt es genug Platz zum Parken. Auf der rechten Seite der Kapelle folgt Ihr einem Pfad, der Euch zum Antennenmast und von dort weiter bis zum "Abgrund" führt, von wo man die beste Aussicht hat.
Hier vorne stehen noch Ruinen von mehreren alten militärischen Gebäuden.
Die Koordinaten bringen Euch zum linken Rand des Plateaus. Das hört sich zwar gefährlich an, aber trotzdem der Cache direkt am Abgrund versteckt ist, kann man ihn ganz leicht ohne zu Klettern finden.
The overwhelming view of Rhodes to the one and Faliráki to the other direction was worth to hide a Cache in this location.
You can reach the view-point from the coastal road in approx. 15 - 20 minutes by foot or quite comfortably with the Cachemobil. In front of the small chapel there is enough place for parking. On the right side of the chapel you find a pathway which leads you to the antenna mast and from there further up to the "abyss", from where you have the best view.
Here in front you still find ruins of several old military buildings.
The coordinates lead you to the left side of the plateau. This sounds dangerously, but, nevertheless the Cache is hidden directly nearby the abyss, you can simply find it without climbing.
During our absense periods, the cache will be maintained by our cache guardian "GATOULIS". A hearty "Thank You" to him.
