Cache is next to a remote ball field, near a paved trail winding through the wild woods of Brookdale Park along Shingle Creek.
Several animals make their homes here. Walking or biking through, you will see squirrels, rabbits, ducks, herons, egrets, turkeys, even an escaped chicken or two. But mostly you will see deer.
Lots and lots of deer.
There is no plaque to mark the site where Bambi himself actually slept, just a small peanut butter jar with cammo, sized between a small and a medium. I've filled it with some animal themed goodies, a log book, a pencil and an unregistered dog tag as a prize for FTF.
Please post any pictures of deer or other animals you see near the cache. :)
Special thanks to Brooklyn51 for their amazing help.
Cache has been approved by and registered with the city of Brooklyn Park Parks and Rec Department.
Remember to trade even or up.
Congratulations to Fish2007 and Dragon Eye for FTF! :)
