Since the only area left in Key Vista Park that seems to be able to meet the cache placement requirements is located in the park's hinderlands, I've begun One-Upmanship - Chapter II. Welcome to North Anclote River Nature Park where there is no parking fee and there will be more caches.
The park is open from 7:30 to dusk daily, has restrooms, a childern's playground, and a trail for both hiking and biking that connects to the Pinellas Trail. Although no city workers were present during my visit it seems that improvements are being made. Some land had been cleared and survey markers were in place.
The cache is located near the parking lot and a wee bit of bushwacking and vine dodging may be necessary to secure your smiley. Coordinates may not be precise due to tree cover. Please make sure the o-ring is in place to help prolong the log's life. BYOP and please replace as found.
