Geocache Description:

You'll find nothing at the published co-ordinates except a big ol' fishin' hole. But fish isn't on tonight's menu!

There is no significant puzzle element to this cache. It's classified as unknown due the way it's structured.

Wot's for Starters?

Our restaurant Glámr's special offer evening menu consists of several courses. Although this one is intended as a starter, it could be selected as a light meal on its own by those with smaller appetites or time constraints. But our recommendation is to have a good old blowout on the same night, indulging yourselves with all the delights on offer.

Don't forget to check the menu attributes of all the courses before leaving home. They will tell you what tools and utensils you will need for foraging and give some clues as to what excitement you are in for!

IMPORTANT: Please remember that, should you wish to have any pudding and it'll be tasty!, you'll need to finish the first three courses first and have successfully foraged for some special ingredients and a recipe along the way. Don't forget to note them down.

To find out more about the other courses and how you can best partake of them, go to: Glámr: 2nd Course, Glámr: 3rd Course, Glámr: 4th Course.

At 'Glámr' Stage 1 you will find a new (Autumn 2015) noticeboard that will enable you to work out where you need to start foraging.

N51° 05.ABC W000° 10.DEF

where:

A = Go Ape cabin
B = Craft Units – Play Area
C = Recreation Huts – Smith & Western Restaurant
D = Walled Garden
E = Dynamic Adventure + Outdoor Gym
F = Play Area

Here is a little check you can do to verify you have the correct solution: A+B+C+D+E+F = 35

Once you reach this location, look around until you spot a white disc that once had a red arrow on it but now only has the words: "RUN ENGLAND 321". Follow the indicated path until you round a corner and, hopefully, spot some Glámr that you can only see at night or, if your eyesight is good, possibly the half light of dusk. Head off in that direction but turn left before you reach it and follow the wiggly Glámr (which does take different forms) trail until you have completed this Starter.

Important: AS you approach the Glámr that is about 100 metres or so from the first one, and if you are walking straight toward it, you will practically fall over something about 1 metre high and about 30 centimetres across at its base. You need to find some bits of a 'recipe' here. Collect all the information you find as you will need some of it should you want pudding. If you don't make a note of what you see, you might regret that later!

Things you will need specifically for your Starter:

A powerful torch (Note to beginners, hold your torch at eye level to see Glámr)
pen and paper, or an electronic notepad

If you are doing the series: extra batteries!

This course shouldn't take too long, starters never do! When you've finished, you'll be given some further bits of the recipe for your pudding. Without this recipe and the special ingredients, you won't be having any!

Enjoy your meal!
