L'Hôtel de Ville de Beaumont était jusqu'en 2013 abrité par une ancienne demeure bourgeoise (fin XIXe - début XXe) appartenant à une famille qui s'était enrichie dans le commerce du vin. Un jour, le maire s'est senti à l'étroit dans cette modeste demeure. Entre la construction d'une nouvelle mairie, d'une extension, ou un déménagement, il a été décidé d'orner cette belle bâtisse d'un étrange bâtiment moderne, tranchant complètement avec le style en place...Les petits parkings environnants ont été remplacés par un parc, des jeux d'enfants, d'étranges champs de bouteilles plastiques transformées en fleurs, et bien d'autres curiosités...L'une d'elles abrite notre cache, il semblerait qu'il s'agisse d'un hommage à Bopfingen, commune d'outre-Rhin jumelée à Beaumont.

The city hall of Beaumont was until 2013 hosted by an ancient 'bourgeois' home (end 19th - early 20th) owned by a family enriched by trading wine. One day, the mayor felt oppressed in this humble building. Among the constructions of a new city hall, an extension or moving, it was decided to ornament this beautiful structure with a weird modern building, contrasting drastically with its style...The small neighbouring parking areas have been replaced by a park, children games, odd fields of plastic bottles changed into flowers, as well as other curiosities...One of them host our cache, it seems like an hommage to the german twin city of Bopfingen.
