I rapaci da sempre affascinano l'essere umano. La caccia, l'aggressività e le loro mirabili evoluzioni li rendono nobili ed austeri. Perché non dare a tutti la possibilità di vederli in volo e da vicino, evitando di cercarli in natura con levatacce e lunghi appostamenti? Da questa domanda nasce l'idea, per il diletto del falconiere e degli astanti, delle dimostrazioni di volo con questi uccelli. La Falconeria è una disciplina conosciuta in tutto il mondo, all'estero è usuale assistere a veri e propri spettacoli presso castelli e rovine medioevali. falchi, poiane, gufi e civette si possono ammirare in un ambiente boschivo del tutto simile all'habitat naturale degli uccelli con uno scenario che ha per sfondo le più belle cime dolomitiche.

Birds of prey attract humans all along. Their way of hunting, their aggressiveness, and their moves in the air make them austere and dour to our eyes. Why not giving everyone the chance to see them fly and to see them closely, without having to look for them in the wilderness? From this question comes the idea of flight demonstrations, for the amusement of the falconer and of the spectators. Falconry is a worldwide known discipline, outside Italy it is even possible to enjoy flight performances at castles or medieval remains. Aus dieser Fragestellung entspringt die Idee der Flugvorführungen mit diesen Vögeln, zum Vergnügen des Falkeniers und der Anwesenden. Die Falknerei ist eine weltweit bekannte Disziplin; im Ausland ist es üblich, echten Schauspielen vor Schlössern und mittelalterlichen Ruinen beizuwohnen.
