This cache is located in Nerima-ku, Tokyo. Plese bring your pen.

The day of 1st of October is Tokyo Citizen’s Day.Tokyo state government begun1st of October in 1898. We member of Tokyo metropolitan geocaching groups celebrates the day and placed this cache.Many of facility of Tokyo state government will free this day. Metropolitan’s parks, Hall, Museum and discount for Tokyo Disney Land.
１０月１日は東京都民の日です。東京の施政は１８９８年のこの日に始まりました。東京のジオキャッシンググループは共同でこの日を祝いキャッシュを設置しました。多くいの都立の施設、公園、庭園、ホールの入場料は無料となり東京ディズニーランドは割引となります。

光が丘公園は東京都練馬区（一部は板橋区）に存在する練馬区最大の公園です。
第二次世界大戦後しばらくはグラントハイツと呼ばれてアメリカ空軍の家族宿舎として利用されていましたが、1972年頃から徐々に日本側に返還。1973年9月30日に全敷地が日本側に変換されました。その後、大部分の敷地は光が丘公園として整備され、現在に至ります。
このキャッシュは光が丘公園北口近くに隠してあります。

余談ですがオーナーの私は子供の頃、この近くに住んでおりました。物心ついた頃にはとっくに日本に返還済みでしたがグラントハイツという名称は小学校入学してしばらくしても残っていました。

Hikarigaoka Park is a park in Nerima largest existing (Itabashi part), Nerima-ku, Tokyo.
It was being used as a family quarters U.S. Air Force is called the Grant Heights for a while after World War II, but returned to the Japanese side gradually from 1972. All site was converted to the Japanese side on September 30, 1973. Then, site of most is maintained as Hikarigaoka park, and now leads.
This cache is near Hikarigaoka-Park's North entrance.
